"On to the point that I have the most trouble with in the new rules. I dont know if you guys realize it, but the 2 sq foot over the console rule is going to turn extreme into a joke like USACi's port wars contests. With only 2 foot needed over the console, cars will look STUPID, and I for one will lose some respect for the extreme cars scores due to this rediculously small measurement allowance. wayne,think about this,here in europe not all cars have a 5000cc engine and an alt that is huge,most cars here are between 1000cc and 2000cc max,we need al the power we can get and that includes running the engine,man theire are more competitors then AMERICAN competitors,quit thinking four your own people alone,damn,you would allow 4 amps in street butt the engine can't turn,whats next we can't charge the batteries or what,damned you are taking this too far ,you can't do this man,
ok al you guys whit the big engines(alts)must think this is great so the guys whit lesser alts will lose some of theire score 1amp=1batterie 2amps=2bateries 3/4amps =we need that engine runing for chure
act normal and do not only look at youre own people

one thing to look at....the Undergrounds van does 175s with much more than 4' of area...more like 5'+....the console may make for a smaller cabin but it also would ristrict airflow.....can hurt you as much as help you....

This would not be a problem if wayne would have just taken care of the 4kwt and other monster amps with a simle list of some sort......instead of making a ruling that would upset the few people that have them...he is making a rule that upsets 3/4 of the other street class people.....i for one can not afford to buy another 2kwt amp till at least mid season for street B...but now i need 3 more to compete....

I agree, I too will not be able to afford another amp, ANY time this season......just goes to show you that he is out to please the "veterans" of dBdrag, and not thinking about the future

This would not be a problem if wayne would have just taken care of the 4kwt and other monster amps with a simle list of some sort......instead of making a ruling that would upset the few people that have them...he is making a rule that upsets 3/4 of the other street class people.....i for one can not afford to buy another 2kwt amp till at least mid season for street B...but now i need 3 more to compete....

NO , i heavend , they are making the dash at a level that is resonable , and lowering the roof or a piece to do the rest , they are many ways to do it , if this 2 sq. ft. stays , wait and see ... And the eyebrown rule isnt a difficult thing to make ok when it is that far . I have nothing against this rule , but i like to see extreme cars stay as a extreme car .

This would not be a problem if wayne would have just taken care of the 4kwt and other monster amps with a simle list of some sort......instead of making a ruling that would upset the few people that have them...he is making a rule that upsets 3/4 of the other street class people.....i for one can not afford to buy another 2kwt amp till at least mid season for street B...but now i need 3 more to compete....

The problem falls in the fact that unless you make a truck class, sedan class, SUV class, van class, sports car class...ext....you will never make all fair from car to car.........

that is not the point,my point isz that wayne is not looking at what happens in other countries,here you will not find street cars who have a 5000cc and so a big alt,respect other countries also

How many liters is that?? anyhow even over hear a large alt for a car is 90 to 105amps stock....the big alts come from the SUVs and trucks...they have a 105amp as a minimum and i have seen up to a 185amp stock with a towing package....

Maybe I'm wrong but wouldn't cars being off help smaller cars with small alternators catch ones with big alternators or is this such a problem because now you guys can't beef up the electrical systems and run your voltage at close to 18 volts alts are never checked, I believe people cheat, this is the best way to make sure with the lowest amount of trouble. It will also level power levels amps can produce. No caps no extra batteries, Wayne comes up with the good ideas and there are only about 5 people that complain about them because they got their loop hole shut.
