Yes or no

1. Can any portion of the audio system be removed and placed in another competitors car? Example, sharing amps, woofers, box, caps, CD player

2. may you have equipment in your car not in use to put you in a higher class? Ex add on amp laying in car to jump to superstreet, woofers laying in car to move to 5-8 woofers. Result is to get points because no competitor is in the that class.

3. Can you delete competitors after the event for breaking such rules that have been discussed in the past few days, or they grandfathered? Ex-my events this past week where some issues occurred?

1. A competitor may borrow equipment IF AND ONLY IF his equipment breaks during the competition. For example, if a competitor blows a woofer during qualifying, he may borrow a woofer from someone else in order to continue competiting.

Competitors may NOT share common components as a part of normal competition. For example, a car club could NOT build a single amp rack and then use it with each of their vehicles. Each vehicle MUST have it's own equipment. This includes all system components... Amps, Alternators, Batteries, Woofers, Source Units, Signal Processors, Podiums, etc.

2. Absolutely not. This is an attempt to circumvent the classification process. If a judge feels that a competitor is trying to do this, the judge should reclassify the competitor or disqualify him from the event.

3. Since we have literally hundreds of judges officiating at dB Drag Racing events, and since some of the issues being discussed have been subjective in their interpretation, we cannot change what has already transpired. The bottom line is that the judge at an event has the final say. By definition, a judge must "judge" whether something is legitimate or not. Sometimes, this person makes a bad call. This is true of any sport (NFL, NBA, etc.). Our goal with regards to this forum is to improve the consistency of judging as much as possible.
