What does more damage listening to loud low frequencies or high frequency.
If a person were to get hearing damage from low bass, does it only affect lower HZ hearing?

Your hearing works pretty much like a loud speaker, if a sub is blown by low frequencies it wont play highs, if a tweet is blown it wont allow lows, thus if your ears are blown by either high or low frequencies I doubt if you will hear any of the above or any in between, my 2 cents.

I just got my hearing checked because I'm joining the air force and my "frequency response" has a little dip in the 6khz-8khz region in my left ear and my right ear isn't so bad. I sit in a 150+ db car every day but my hearing is actually really good, especially compared to others. I'm pretty sure my left ear is a little bad because I drive with my window down a lot in the summer time and that's not very good.

You can recover from most lower frequency damage. High frequency damage is almost always permanent. Concusive damage can often repair, or be repaired to some degree.

human hearing is much more sensitive to high frequencies

also with loud low frequency vehicles your internal organs are taking a beating
