hi im new to this forum and was just wanting to introduce myself. u can call me D im 21 from oklahoma city and looking into a new system as of right now i have two 12" autotek street machines running on a legacy red series 2 1200w amp and a single kicker L7 8" on a boss chaos 600w amp in the trunk of a 76 caprice. i have like 50 bucks in my whole system so i cant bitch. but im interested in upgrading to some real sound and was wonderin if i could get some advice on a good setup for around $1000-$1500. its gonna be sumthin i listen to daily no competitions but loud enough to out due most people on the street......

Hello...got some fam n friends in OKC....What cd player you have? I tell my customers spend wise...a big 4ch can do a system...run the front 2 ch to you mids, and run the rear ch mono to your subs...

some 1/0ga wiring $200
XS Power D1200 2nd battery $180
custom ported box $300 if you have someone build it

That's a $1500 setup that will daily pound for sure.

4 1500 bucks he could he could get mids subs amps for both in audiopipe and have more power too...at retail..
750 amps
300 box
And mids n 12"s to slam >450
And the hifi12d4 are slamin for stupid cheep too...you could go 4 12's lol

thanx for the quik and friendly responses its nice to come on a forum and ppl arent complete assholes.....
so how many db's ya think i'd hit with the 2 fi 15's?

as of right now i have a sony cdx-gt320 head unit only cause it was free....but i have a kenwood kdc-9017 that im trying to get the flex cable for that works the face. but im also tryin to talk my uncle out of a jvc arsenal series stereo

also will this affect my alternator any?
