i dont really know where you live but try to find a boat building place in your town or area. they have to get their supplies somewhere.. probe the guys at the front counter. Do you have a business liscense? I get all my stuff from a place that just plain smells flamable inside.. all the people working are all burnt out.

i used to buy 5gal buckets from an autobody paint supply store. Of course, back then it was $73/5Gal bucket. Nowadays you're lucky to find it under $140 a bucket.
The other place I used to get buckets was a boat building company across town. and when I needed small amounts on a Sunday when the other places were closed, there was a company not too far from me that built Carousel horses and such. All from fiberglass, so they had the stuff too

oh come on. Get a nice epoxy resin. It's WAY better than poly resins. Get something nice and thin so it wets-out nicely. And if you're doing verticle or overhead application, get some of the fillers you can add to it, maybe mica. If you're going to be painting it, get some microballoons to help make sanding easier on the outer layers.

901VINYLESTER RESIN An extremely high strength resin used for making strong, stiff laminates. Highly water and chemical resistant. Call for specific applications. Excellent secondary chemical bond to polyester laminate when making repairs or when strength and stiffness are important. An ideal choice for repairs to high stress areas, such as rudders, skeg and fin keel laminates.
