I've never personally used one, but i read a lot. They seem to make powerful amplifiers, and small in size. But I've read lots of stories about them blowing up and dying. not as reliable as one would hope. Many people have had a nightmare of a time getting them fixed too. Supposedly they are looking for a new repair company in the United States.

I am the new North American Sales Rep and am trying to get every complaint straightened out. I got us a new repair facility and have implimented consistent sales prices for everyone. I have established competitor pricing and dealer pricing. There is a misconseption about these amps. There were less than a dozen amps that got burned out of 2000. However these people cried so loud that it tarnished the name. I still sell amps as fast as i can make an invoice and we are in the process of stocking a warehouse in Miami to make the shipping process quicker and easier for the consumer, I personally have used these amps in my daily driver/competition car and these amps have performed flawlessly. The problem withmost of these amps is people were trying to run them on less battery than they needed and they went bad. That doesnt happen with just Stetsom amps it happens with ALL amps. I speak to every one that buys one of the Vulcan Digital line to make sure that they have the battery power to use these amps. Our line consists of 52 amplifiers not just the digital line we have a/b 4 channel and oem replacement amps. There is an amp for every application. If you have any questions or inquirys about our line you can go to www.stetsom.com to see our line and email me for prices. I work personally with every consumer.

Stetsom does good for me now and I also have two 7k2D's that I have put through hell.
But as Steve says you need to have alot of batteries to keep these amps fed with batteries or they go hungry and eat themselves like any other big amp.
The dollar per watt spent is better than most companies. Check out my review of the 7k2D and the SD8k in the amplifier section.
Currently Stetsom holds the loudest certified bass race score and the loudest dB Drag burp score in the world.

I really don't know about stetsom since im on team maxxsonics but im sure there good amps and do well just mike and john have been good to me so i always run maxxsonics products. I grew up actually using rockford then was introduced to maxxsonics through fallon but i know people who use stetsom and enjoy them.

Good product just need to use common sense when usen product make sure if ya play music ya have the proper items needed too run the amp safe.
spl in street class take care when ya burp if ya drop to 9 volts its not good. not with these amps they may take it a few times but sooner or ltr they will blow. + the name of the game is to be efficient these amps may run below 1 ohm but that don't mean they like it.
just use common sense when running them and you will be fine they are a well built amp and do there power.
and with the new repair center Steve can get things rolling and he is there to answer any ? you may have to his ability.
Two thumbs up for a good Guy Steve will have your back and take good care of ya im glad he stuck in with them and is taken them to the next level good luck Steve and take care of these guys I know you will get the job done.

Way to eat crow. I do alot of joking with Steve but he has his heart into it plus he's a great guy so Stetsom gets an A+ in that regard. I know they are good amps, it's just the only ones that have been shipped to New England all have gone up in smoke. They all went to the same person though so I think it was more operator error then mechanical error. Listen to Steve and he will guide you in the right direction.

truf, hell you could run 18v in stock, and like 25 batteries. I had 2 8d batts that show due to some good friends. But whatever, its water under the bridge. Was a fun show, despite people blowing equipment. It showed what friendship was about. Ripping out equipment so other people could put up a score-- i wish that kind of friendship still existed
