I have a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD and I would like to know the best way to override the parking brake message that I get..

ground the parking break wire, but put it on a pinswitch. that way you can press and release the switch and it's good to go. the radio just needs to see ground go away and return after powering on

i couldnt use the pin switch on my 5900. the screen would go back blk once released. I have used either a relay or a toggle switch. On a relay ground pins 86 and 87, remote to 85 and 30 to ebrake wire.
