FTR steves always been pretty cool with me, dont much care for any of his moderators on his site so I dont frequent it much.
I predict 2010 comes and goes and nothing mentioned in this post comes to light, too many talk about what they ARE GONNA do, talk about what you HAVE done instead, its alot more respectable.

Im a nobody, I compete for fun, I dont care if I win or lose, seems like you been to finals a few times but yet your in IL according to your myspace, but yet you never showed up at a DB Drag event that is 10-30 minutes into WI. Strangly odd.
I dont know how you can compair your setup to meades and saying yours is stronger. Maybe it is, maybe it aint. But is that a caravan (if so, your going at it all wrong (imo).
I guess Ill let you have the part that your box maybe stronger then meades, but your box hasnt had years of abuse at 155+db in a daily driver, with outragious amounts of power. But Im gonna be honest, and blunt. Its ghetto as hell, not a straight cut on your box, and im still trying to understand these pvc tubes. Its something I would expect from these rinky dink audio shops in the hood of Chi town Ive been to that try to sell me fusion, oz, and whatever fleabay brand.
I could care less what someone thinks of me, I like that haters, it makes me work harder and give me a reason to get louder.
Steves a cool dude, and one day I wish for the money to make the WI to Cali trip in my hoe to hear his monsterous installs (pending $$$$).

I still say XS SPL were and will always be kings of cali. Some of you never heard the things that Roger and others put together. I have stayed quite a few nights the shop rog did daily vehicles that never hit the lanes. World Records and World Championships is what this game is all about in the spl world. XS SPL truly is the reason why earthquakes occur in CA.
I have also been to Steve Cook's shop and seen some awesome stuff he was doing. This includes Justin's wall of 8's(yes justin, he demo'd it after you left!).
I also went to OK showdown and saw Baldwin's SS van, that thing was really loud(not much power either, less than most of these daily vehicles).
Meade does some awesome daily vehicles. There world records that make people happy and there are just systems that make people happy. Getting the volume to a certain level is purely subjective when it comes to exactly how happy you are with your stereos. There will always be room for improvement. You may not reach other peoples' expectations, but in the end the only expectations that really matter is yours.
Who the hell really cares, it all promotes car audio. This is something we all have passion for... isn't it?

just so you guys know, since some of you make it clear you dont come to my site, i bring in ANY superstar like the XS power boys or anyone else who wants to jump in and get more exposure. People like that end up with there very own section and have since day 1 when i started it. Its my site, i own it, but its never been just about me. Even the main site is LITTERED with MEMBER builds and System of the month builds......none of which i entered. Some of these guys have world records, true, and they get treated like world record holders when they come to my site.....actually, most of the time if the name is known, they get treated like kings there. If they have world records, and NO ONE knows there name, and that happens a LOT, they soon do..... So anyone who calls my members nuthuggers is truly ignorant since the site is just as much about everyone else as it is about me. I even modified the name of it to identify it more with something besides ME.
Navi, i have no idea what a mod could have done to you that made you not come around. I have weeded out a few over-zealous mods...but regardless, even with the over-zealous, i cant imagine a time when someone who chills and doesnt start trouble would ever have a problem on my forum. The mods dont pick on people for no reason and if you feel thats the case, you need to let me know.

thats easy for you to say when you are anonymous, nobody is making threads about how tired they are of YOU (after you did nothing wrong).

Steve is a great guy, not sure if he remembers but the first time i met him was at a USAC show in Vegas, he drove all the way down for the show for it to be cancelled because of a little rain. we hung out in the parking lot for a bit chatting and then he and his boy took off to the casinos.
Both guys (David and STeve) are what this hobby is all about, dedication and enjoyment.
David helped me out more than i could ever give him credit for and the first time he did he had only ever met me one time before that.
Now as far as Stacey goes i met him and his family at finals a few years ago, very nice people. Now whether he meant to "call" out Steve or not i havent figured out.
anyway thats my worthless post to go with the others in this thread.

Terry....i remember that day, it was a SLAP show that never happened i trailored my honda all the way to vegas with my Tahoe when it was still stock. Spent a few grand, had some white-knuckle driving and didnt even get to play because i had to show up one of the two times it rains in Vegas all year - GOOD TIMES! At least i got my Lugz shined for $10 bucks with a wild-turkey in my hand later that day

The first time I met David Baldwin I went with Steve to a USAC show in Missouri so he could set a record on the B&K.
David was the nicest guy ever to me and let me crawl all up in the Suburban I think it had 8 DD 15s and a bunch of Memphis 1000ds? It was the most insane ever...that suburban is actually what made me want to build the truck.
Thinking back that was the first time I met Danny Britain, Steve Benton, Ralph Randall, Chili and all of team pure sound back when they had the rabbits and Big Jim. That was back when this stuff was a BLAST. There were probably 500 people at that show and 10x as many spectators.
Back to the subject at hand though...Stacy you can't really call out Steve based on something someone on the internet said...like I said before I used to think Steve was being an asshole and kind of conceited but after I stood back and examined the entire situation it isn't Steve at all.
He's a cool guy and can't control anything someone says online, he has a website where he displays his work and posts videos...whats the diff in that and what Norris and Alma did a few years back?

Would be awesome to see Meade come to Daytona and battle it out with some of us East Coast people.
Im sure if you posted on your forum and tried to get alot of West Coast people to drive over they would. You could get a huge caravan driving across the country. SBN would be pretty awesome to have alot of the newer members from the West Coast to come over and see how cars are built in a different part of the country.
Id still like to go up North for a WF and see some of the loud cars in Ohio.

i love car audio but thats too long of a drive for me, i dont care about it that much LOL. Hell i dont even go to shows HERE - dont feel like it.
If i could blink my eyes and be there i would but ill pass on the longest drive EVER.....and turn around and drive home afterwards, oh hellz no. Why dont you hop in your econo-van and drive that thing to Cali and see what i mean.

I rmember meeting Steve at Usaci finals in 2002ish? We had gotten into a pissing match online(go figure) And then BS'd about it there....it's funny how the interweb can really phukk up peoples sense of reality and what actually means anything.
