Here is a clip of a new technology coming out. Uses ultra-sound waves that create sound at the listeners ears and not at the source. Car manufacturers are already showing interest...

""The speed of sound is not a constant...It's fairly slow...it changes with temperature and with barometric pressure.. "
he also states "I didn't graduate college"

barometric pressure will only affect it in EXTREME cases, such as near vacuum and the moment of transition to a new state of matter

The premise behind the idea was discovered in the late 1800s. An organ player noticed that if you played two notes in a room, a third one would emerge that is the difference in frequency of the two notes. (Cancellation?)

Ultrasound operates around 20,000 hertz and up... His device sends out say a 22,000hz sound and a 21,000hz sound. The interference of the two signals in your ear (the room) would create a 1,000hz tone. Pretty impressive considering he is literary making music out of distortion(Cancellation?).

I would really like to hear one and see how the sound quality is and the limitations of the system.
