I have an 09 dodge ram and im trying to install an amp using the factory head unit. I need to find a place to tap for the remote wire and also for the line output converter. Don't know if it matters but it has the alpine system with navigation. Anybody know where i could find this info? Thanks

that system uses data turn-on....there's no standard 12v remote lead....at least not one that uses the retained accessory power.

if you want to PM me your #, I can explain a few things on the newer dodge/chrysler/jeeps. i have a couple ideas to try. it's not a "standard" setup in those vehicles.

I've been trying to hook up an LOC in a 2005 Dakota and have had no luck.

Even with the LOC disconnected the amp has no power, even with a good power and ground connectin.
