Hey guys, I have 3 old school PPI amps that I would like to implement in my upcoming project. The problem is that the amp have seen better days as far as aesthetics are concerned. My idea is to remove the internal electronics and paint the case a custom color. Sounds easy enough but one thing I would want to do is to keep all the logos and silkscreens for knobs and settings. How can I go about replacing the silkscreening after the amp is prepped and painted?

Thanks. All inputs greatly appreciated.

you would have to actually get it silk screened back on.

I'd probobly just go to a sticker shop and get them to print you up some decals that are the same size and design

Wouldn't be original but would be the easiest way

good point but what about the heat dissipation of the amp? of course a small 12 volt amp will solve this aswell

Yep, Powdercoating would be best and last way longer! for three items that small it wouldn't that much money. I happen know the owner of a powdercoating facility in Michigan. www.colorcoatplating.com the owner's name is Jeff give them a call and get round about pricing, tell them Jeff Rohrer (ror) sent you.
