Actually.. The box was tuned to 56 and played to peak at 61. Playing the sub well under tuneing ( 30hz) at full tilt would still destroy it if it wasn't quailty made.

BTW.. Box was only .6 cubic feet, in theory, the impedance rise would have been very little.

peak voltage of 63 volts at 1 ohm is right at 4000 watts. I've seen it happen with those. not consistently, but it has happened

This was the score with the meter on the floorboard passenger side front, as is with most shows. I dont do the dash shows, suppose i could though.

db drag is the "standard" and they read off the dash just like idbl and other orgs. take anywhere from 2-5dbs off ur score and that is where ur at on the dash.

Safety is the key. It's only $8 american ($75,000 canadian) for a small kitchen sized fire extinguisher.

can you post pics of an install that is better then factory? i could see one equal to factory but other then that i call bluff.

i have personally hit a 3xl 12" sub with 4670 actual clamp and voltage measured watts . no smell or problems . anything in the world can be abused to death . should any company test there product to see what happens when drunk people put lighter fluid on there subs and light them on fire ?
