If anyone out there has experience with SPL installs on CRX's, please give me a shout. Pro only, no hack-job advice.

I've been thinking about the CRX for years, and will finally be getting one for a comp. install over the next 2 or 3 months. Hope to hear from someone soon!

Probably a 90 or 91, haven't decided what model, but since it will be gutted and re-engined, it doesn't matter to me.

The goal isn't to hit 170db or anything, but I want to do a professional looking install with some ridiculous SPL for fun.

Pick a class then ask in the SPL Forum. Lots of Advice out there, just have to weed through some of it first.

You are joking right? The CRX has been well used in SPL competition for almost a decade now. There is more than enough info on this forum and others to get you started.

Please do not think I am being rude, but it seems nowadays nobody wants to build a car, they want it done for them.

I was actually referring to the original post. There is an enormous amount of info on the CRX out there. There is no real need to ask for advice.

Do your boxes dip into the spare tire spot, or did you just lay the box over it? And if you did just lay the box over it didd you fill the spare tire spot with anyhting like expanding foam or some other filler.
