see the top two rca plugs? neither have the rca input shield/grounding sheath... what I need is replacements. I also need the technical term for them! I am sure someone with any sort of e.e. background knows what in heck I need!

aren't they just female RCA plugs? open up the backpanel and see if they are held in by a thin nut, or what. should probably just need a female-female twist-disconnect end, remove one side, mount and solder

the thin metal piece you are missing goes into the amp with two arms and also the red rings act like a spacer and color identifier for each channel.
you can just pull out one of the bottom ones to look at. They normally get pulled out if you have some RCA's that are real tight fitting.

i think ur only luck is to eather take some out of a old amp that is simular or cut off a spliter with 2 female ends and solder to the board. i have soldered in rca ends before on amps no problems.
that is one of the most common ways i have seen a amp break is rca inputs.
i wish more amps would have the ones that onto the endplates instead of just slid threw a hole...

thanks everyone, i have a ton of those ends I can use, I will try that. I was about to trade this amp for another, can you guys who have done this clarify that if the new rca metal pieces are put into place correctly that the amp will work just like it did before hand?
thanks.

wow how ironic is this, i just went and found my rca splitters and I look on the male end and the missing input rca plug is stuck in it!!! I will just slide this right over the top on the amp and do the output side and the amp will be good to go!
