So the amps are each at 1 ohm and strapped they're seeing .5, or they're each at .5 ohms and strapped they're seeing .25 ohms?
That makes two of us playing music over 150

I know that, but that's why I asked if they were strapped at .5 or each amp is seeing .5 I've heard people say it that my amps are strapped at .5 and they really mean that they're at 1 ohm and each amp is seeing .5 ohms. I was just trying to clarify with Rob on that. I'm fully aware that an amp sees half the impedence when strapped. I'm not a newby Cory Thanks for the help though.

Ea. amp is seeing a .25ohm and I am able to play daily through them.
The slave amp which is the oldest one does tend to feel hotter than the master after several burps and bassrace runs. So far I can keep the voltage up above 12 but I have yet to turn the amps up.
This Sunday I will dial it in at 120v+ and will see how it reacts. LMAO!!
After 300+ burps and alot of hrs. at full tilt I think the right woofa is weak. DJ said that he may have accidentally put 6 spiders instead of 8 which would explain the overexcursion. LOL
Nightshade I was unaware you broke your 50+ on music. Congratulations Brotha! Well deserved!

Thanks for the congrats Rob, I'm only a little bit louder than you at this point. I'm sure that you'll catch me soon enough, but I'll have a new box that I know for a fact will give me at least another db in my car. So that'll be a little work for you to get back up with me then. That trunk of yours is damn loud. I'm using a hatch and not much louder, but I do only have 3K watts going to my subs. I can't wait until I get to sit in and hear your beast Prix.

Well I broke my woofa's at the April 5th show in Adams Center.
I did a paltry 148.0 for my bassrace run with the dang sub bottoming out like no tomorrow!
I put in the HD3 I had and as soon as I put power to it to test it it popped. Coil was rubbing real bad. Got 3 more burps out of it with a high of 150.8 for Street C.
Went to the TNE lane and with 1 frozen sub and 1 10 I pulled a 151!
Put some glue on the spiders and around the cone/spider and its doing better than before it broke. Hasn't bottomed out yet which is a good thing
