Im planning on running 2 AQ 2200s on one 9515 in my cavalier and was wondering will the DD be able to take it daily on music...im probably going to set the gains to where it will only have 3700RMS let me know thanks

setting a gain is a matter of matching the signal not telling your amp how many watts to put out [Cool] . Thats alot of power to put on a sub for daily, as long as the signal is clean you should be ok.

DD voice coils love the power, DD suspensions don't. So personally, I would say no way jose. No more than 2000 rms if tuned 35hz and lower. Don't forget, DD doesn't warranty anything.

as long as you have a volume control and common sense you can put any amount of power to any speaker.

Well said! its all about control! I could put a XX-Goliath on a sony Xplode and play her all day, just as long as I keep the volume down to a safe level. LOL
