there were 2 buicks in the indy 500 that had 4.1 v-6 race motors but not in the Gn's the last time buick used the 4.1 was back in 1984 and it was not in a gn the motor that was used was a 3.8 that ran mid 14s out of the show room with a little tweaking

here is a link to the fastest stock block GN in the country,,,8.95s with gutted interior,,,,9.40s in "stock" trim. On 10.5s,,probably a 100k car
Over 1000 hp,,just to think JD 10 years ago you were almost that fast,,you had the fastest stock block GN and didnt even know it for years.

Fastest GN I had was 9.14 in quarter mile. Daily driver....sort of...lol :)
