Well i have a dual 2 ohm sub and a single 4 ohm sub.

Which will help the amp create less heat??

When I have it running a 2ohm stereo it gets pretty warm. If i do A 4 ohm bridge will the amp run any cooler???

Also should the amp produce the same amount of wattage at 2ohm setero(both channels of course) as 4 ohm brige?? MTX 282 is the amp

it will probably run just as hot. the amp sees the same load either way. 4 ohm bridged is just as taxing on the amp as 2 ohm stereo.

It seems like in most real test reports .. 2 ohm stereo yielded more output .. but not enough to really notice. .

x2

But if you REALLY want to get down to it...2 ohms stereo may have a lower resistance than 4 ohms mono since there are four power paths instead of two.

Just get a monoblock and not worry about it [Big Grin]
