Is the aux insput (in the back) standard 1/8" headphone jack size? If not what is it?

No , Its for stering wheel contols .If you want an Aux in put you need to buy (cd-rb10) .This will plug into the cd changer port in the back .And on the other end it will have a set of rca's .This will be your Aux in .What were you planning to use the aux in for? I-Pod ?If its a I-Pod ,you can get a direct plug for the pod so you dont have to touch the i-pod , and everything will beable to be controled though the radio .This will charge the pod also .CDIB100II is the part number for the direct pod hook up .

No i dont have an ipod, but I do want to run my mp3 player off it. Thanks for the info, I hate how Pioneer makes you buy 15 other periphrials that should be standard...

they are standard on the higher end radio's except the ipod unit

Dude the DEH-P6900UB may be what you are lookin for. You can connect your MP3 or simply use a thumbdrive to store and play music.

BTW- like the sig, can't wait to see what it does on the 19th.

Ill be getting a new HU but id like to keep what i have and use AUX, if it doesnt have it then it might be time to upgrade this summer [Embarrassed]

the deh-p4800 has an aux but no the 5800. also periphrial makes a piece that has a headphone jack, ipod connector, and rca input in 1.
