ya wall socket is the safest way to completly destroy a sub.......... just be ready to pull the cord out the wall or turn the switch off...LMFAO

Be very carefull when doing, and make sure their are no bares wires exposed, pull laundry drier cord, cut right before the drier, and hook the white and red wires to the +/- terminals on you sub, replace plug. J/K....
i love 220v action though. puts a stupd look on a subs face! hahahaha quite dangerous.

between the red and white you only get 120v...
black and red is 240v... I wouldn't recommend doing it his way though. they're cheap at home depot for a dryer plug if you really want to use the dryer outlet... 120v would probably be sufficient I free aired my MT off my genXX colossus and broke neither... it was sad... I didn't even bother plugging it into the wall, I was in a hurry to recone it for a show so I just cut it up still working lol

Oh yeah, 480V!!!! And that was my mistake definatly the black/red. anyway it was just a joke, not really going to cut the plug on a drier for this. Well maby.
I've hooked a few armageddons on the 110v with no sucess at blowing. kept it going till the 30 amp breaker poped (4+ mins). figured that was enough cuz it didn't need reconed. Sure it chared it a hair though. Once hooked 6-15" z-series koves at roughly .125 ohm on my multimeter to the drier outlet. My floor moved a LITTLE. They were all freeair, just sitting there. The friends i had over asked if i i would "NOT" do that again.
