ok heres the choices of subs you guys. would u get Fi SSD fully loaded, or RE SX? which off these two choices u think would get the loudest. heard nothing but good things about both subs and wonder how they compare to each other?

wasnt getting mad or nothing just stating/ when i did suggest kicker i did it becuase of the money issue. in that guy situation he was cheaper going with kicker as he stated in the post himself. sometimes we all have to get what we can afford. trust me if i had the cash like that i would even be posting this. so bro, " You need to sit down, chill out, and smoke a blunt a day" (Young Dro) JK. but still you were off topic, Fi or RE not those 2 vs anything else. [Wink] also if ud notice everytime i chime in suggestion kicker notice what the thread title would be. "Now thats a shame" that you dont pay attention to whats going on in these posts. No Hard feelings tho man were cool.

I personally would take the SSD, I think it would possibly get louder. I havn't seen too great numbers with SX's and noticed some guys even saying the SExxx's were louder in there testing...

and scott has great support

That was me. The L7s were in a Ford Ranger, the SXs are in an Impala. Using the same amount of power (2,500). Everybody keeps telling me how outrageously loud my current setup is and it sure seems hella loud, but I don't know it just doesn't "hurt" like my old setups.

I did two JL 15w3s ported with a JBL 1200.1 and even that seemed to hurt more. That setup did a 143.4 on the new TL. Without a doubt the 4 SXs annihilate the JLs. Yet I can do a hair trick with music with my SXs and it just doesn't hurt. And I gave my ex a ride in my car the other night and she had to plug her ears. Maybe I'm just used to being pretty loud now? You can hear me from blocks away, in concrete buildings, people ask me if I'm deaf...

The SSDs will probably have better SQ though.

with RE before they got bought out.... customer service was worse than pullen teeth! i got maybe 1-2 responses and waited on hold for WAY to long...

my choice of upgrade is gonna be a fully loaded 12inch BTL just geting the money together can be tuff lately...

yea i see. well im going with RE just cause everyone is going with Fi. not saying Fe isnt as good. ive also compared these 2 subs for hours and just realized the SX 18 is 8 layerd coils vs Fi 4 layer coil. also noticed the SX has an stronger motor. havent seen an good SX install in a while either. using 18's anyway.

just like everyone went with re a few years back, in all honestly the fi the ssd is superior to the sx, and the q is better then the old xxx, but i have a feeling a certain person contacted you again and that helped your decision, best of luck with your choice

everyone is saying Fi, but i dont have any legit reasons as to why go Fi? really my question wasnt answered. i asked of the 2 which would take power better, and i got some Bl Q's, and BTL responses.

since this is daily i would go with the q it will sound alot better then the bl, even the ssds can prolly take that pair, to be safe the q's or bl's will defentiyl and honestly 2 btls wouldnt be ideal with 1 amp, maybe 1 sub per amp yeah, but out of the to for a daily low banger sound good loud setup the q is the way to go
