Hmm what u think i could get the loudest with of these 2 woofers? kicker 2500.1 will be used for power. about 4.5cubes per woofer 35hz.

Kicker 15" L7's
or
Kove Armageddons KMG-X-Pros?

I have roasted some l7 12's but...
With that power Id say 2 new l7 15s would easilly take that. And if you get another amp they could take it for burps. But for music the kickers are gonna tear the koves a new one. With two 2500's it would be the koves of course for music.

Whats car is this going in?

P.S. kove is out, kicker sponsers dbdrag and is at finals for support if your winning I believe.

yes, they are high excussion subs. why u think i like them ;-) only thing is the position the company is in now, and some faulty batches. other than that they are bulletproof. they should do well in my new caddy's trunk (replacing the k series 15's i got). just need someone to post up some more zx-1000's for sale!

with the T-cut top plate, the way we designed them, is miss leading on actual Xmax. But even if they have less than others, doesn't change the L7 can get loud. [Smile]

the koves will sound better than the kickers, the kickers should be louder with the extra cone area. but if the kickers were round i would say the 3 year old koves would give them a good run for there money on spl

xmax isnt everything, i wish more people would learn this. look at the old strokers 11mm dumax tested. there is plenty of subs out there with 20+mm of excursion that get beat by subs with 10mm or less. if ur looking for spl look at BL...

yes, spl, go for high fs, great efficiency, etc. I have pm'd back and forth and it seems as though his vehicle is a "daily driver". and he has said he really wants to drop hard lows. Now tell me is a stroker going to make a good solid 20-25 hz note at 13-1500 watts in the same size box and hold up for years (from experience it's not and +1 cerwin-vega still rocks!). Not trying to start an argument belive me, but for his situations and mine (not going for spl man of the year) the koves seem to be the logical choice, besides the hassles if he needs to get recones. Go for the l7's simply because i would love to not repost and have your x-pro's.
