well didnt have good luck with the RFT 3001BD , so now i have an Kicker 2500.1 coming any info or guys running these? what type battery power should i have for 1 ohm nominal use?

Hey they are great amps i have 2 of them.We used them strictly for spl and did a 154.6 with 2-15"Atomic Apx in our SS van.Awesome amps imo and you won't be dissappointed.

Now they are going to be used in our Street B crx and we are hoping to pull a similar # to the one above but in a different class.

I have one amp now and my 2nd will be here thursday.

Absolutely love it, powerful and steady power. Does not heat up and has never gone into protect or gotten more than warm.

They are really nice amps. I can barely lift one thought but i am a Girl lol so that explains why i can't

My Team and i are really excited to see how they do in my CRX . So it should be fun. And now that i have my car i can compete

I have 4 of them in my blazer still havn't tested them properly since I got them all @ finals did a 51.8 before I starting blowing sub's @ qualifing so I know the L7's can't hold the power but wait till i get the solo x's then I will post then

on a side note I bass race @ Finals on volume 10 and my clarion eq @ a quarter volume sub level @ half so I don't bust out...I came in 3rd in the 130-139.9

I am running L7 12's I am going to put them on my 15's tho and depending which model if they r the new 06 model they will hold as per Kicker [Eek!]

Nice choice in amp. Solid and has real nice power.

With 2 runs of 2/0 and 4 batts, you should be in good shape. Still on the stock alt or has that been stepped up yet?

Just got a stock alt with 2 Optima batteries at the moment, but I'm only running the 4-channel right now. The sub amps aren't in the car yet cause I'm still undecided about subs. But that may soon change as I've got my eye on a pair of Fi 15's at the moment. That's gonna be a little while though. Maybe Spring of next year.
