Yer not just a kiddin' either! Last time that local poodle stole my tennis balls, I needed a week's worth of WD-40 just to get the knees & hips moving again. Darn thing thinks he's a Rotty....stealin' my tennis balls! Filled this pair with jabanero pepper juice; 'bout burned my Depends when I opened the jar.

PhD program? Excellent. I was working on a PhD path for Foreign Policy / International Relations, but life threw me a few curve balls....had to adapt.

Gratz & good luck with school, life after school, marriage, etc.

Still alive and kicking.

Who knows, when I'm done with school and Ashley finishes med school I will be able to afford this obsession again....

Great so see/hear from all of you.

Jester - Yeah it's been a long time... I think finals 2001 was the last time I showed my face at anything too big - built that Jeep with Horner in two weeks after the other one burned up...

It still runs, it sits in my parents field... There is still a box there and the items to hook up the battry racks; but yes, 6 mpg was too much to handle. Still, pretty much drop anything in there and it'll do 160 @37hz [Smile]

Actually a heck of a lot has happened since then but most people probably heard about it (real bad wreck with the Durango I replaced the Blazer with)...

I don't have any cats (or other animals for that matter) nor do I have any tattoos. I feel left out [Frown]

Seeing everybody's posts now, knowing that some of you haven't posted for eons, makes me wonder where all the time has gone because it feels like it was just last week that we were talking keyboard commando kits, etc. *sniffle* I miss those days.

How is the Griz anyway? Have you spoke with him lately? Last I talked to him, he was in school and left Metro? Speaking of Metro, do they still have the green van?

actually metro has become massive....i was shocked when i moved back to omaha and saw the new store...the griz is doing well, we've exchanged some emails...he's an IT guy somewhere here in omaha....he got married a few years ago...other than that, you'd need to ask him...he seems to be pretty happy that he has a different career, which i can totally understand. i know i couldn't handle the madness that is this business...people got rich in omaha in the 90's in the car stereo business. there was a shop on every corner and usually 2-3 shows every week here...now there are only the 2 monsters left that started it all, metro and stereo west...as far as the green van? your guess is as good as mine. last time i saw it, it was empty...JH is a pretty savy businessman and i think he realized that dB drag was not the best way to go about promotion of his business...from what i can see he is doing better than ever...his new store is un-freaking-believable....as far as i go, every now and then i build somethig for friends. i still have all of my old termpro software and meter, so whenever there is a show in omaha i ended up helping some friends from out of town do some tuning....other than that, i stay away from car audio...the last time i actually had any equipment in my car i had 12 12's and enough power to run a small country...now, i have a factory cd player and mostly listen to talk radio...i guess it's like the old garth brooks song goes.."i'm much too young to feel this damn old"...but i guess that's the way it goes...
