So me and a few people on the other forum's out there dicided to try and start a mid west meet. I did a few poles on where we should hold the meet and on all the forums Toledo/Ohio was the winner. So we decided on the location that it be in toledo (or in the vacinity) One of the forum members had a good idea in where we should hold it.

Toledo area is simply the best. If you look at the Frapr Map NWO is like central to over 50% of the members here and even on my board.

My vote is for Gibsonburg!

1) Its a matter of two minutes from the Ohio Turnpike.

2) They have a friggin GIGANTIC field where we could easily fit 500+ cars

3) They have a 30+ site campground for cheap as hell (Under $30)

4) They have a quarry to cool off in for $3 a person...

But trying to convince the park board to allow an event is a real treat. They dont want our loud stereos. Yet they allow loud tractors (steam hit n miss, diesel)...

The rule they dont want us to break is the noise one... WHich is the one we would want to!

If anyone would like collaborate and try helping me convince the park board that would be cool as fvck!

I know Troy, the area Meca Judge. He knows the Sandusky Park guy Steve. I even included info from Steve @ Meca and a letter of reccomendation.

BTW if this goes down I will gladly haul my big asz $350 grill over there to cook the food on! Hell its only a few minutes from my place!

So we are going to run with this idea. All are welcome! You dont have to have the best stereo in the world to attend [Wink]
Aug 4th looks like it would be our best bet becuase there is no comps going on in dbdrag. i dont know what everyone competes in but i know dbdrag is a big one. so my vote goes down for aug 4th. plenty of time to organize. there is a meca event on the 5th in Hebron, OH i have no idea where that is but what does everyone else think?

Db-Drag Events

Location: Gibsonburg Ohio
Date: 08-04-06
We will for sure have 2+ TL meters
