the pix with the wall is 04-05 db drive PL's. they are GREAT subs but no longer made. last yr we did a 147.8 with 2 db drive 2000.1s strapped on a pair of the pl 15s in a trunk, lasted a whole season.

they no longer make that sub but one simular i havent tested. i have installed the wd's and plts with great sucess. the plts sound AMAZING and hit really hard, the wd's are a 70lb spl sub that is user reconeable. check out www.dbdrive.net....

I like them.

Only thing I would add is more port area to your ported setups. You look to be choking those poor subs.

We just do a lot of business with American Bass. For the money, they provide an awesome product.

What you're seeing in the rear deck of that caddy, is the speaker grills over the top of 6.5"s.

We build all of our boxes based on what the customer wants, or what is recommended by the manufacturer. Many times, we use TERM-PAK to determine what we would need, anyways.

Please keep in mind, these are daily drivers... NOT meter vehicles, and the majority of our installs are 'owner directed' meaning we do what they want... If they want a box built for a VFL Extreme sealed .8 cubes, then we build it. We may look at them funny, but we build it.

Also, pictures do not do some of them justice. We had similar square ports in the mustang, tuned to 36 hz, and it cranked out a 151 daily.

TIP...do something about all the screw covers, its cool to use them sparingly to cover up something you HAVE to screw on, but like on the rear panel of the caddy....you could have slit the carpet and hit a screw alot easier...or used a brad nail or something

Would you sit there and have an arguement with a brick wall? I didn't think so.

I can offer sugguestions, but at the end of the day, we're here for the consumer. We make what they want to consume. Therefore, if they want a wall of 4" power acoustik mids, then dammit, they get it.

Steve believe it or not these down south chevy riding fools like their trunks to rattle and to see how many mids n highs they can pile in. If you try and talk them out of it, they walk out.
