just proving it can be done using cooking oil and an stove, Set the stove to about 200-220 degress right around 4-5 setting. let the oil sit for about 6 minutes. dip the pipe into the oil for about 2-3 mintues take out and beging to press it down onto an mold,jig, bowl which ever you have to use at the time. pic above i used neither. i just simply pressed down on the floor.

actually water doesnt work lol i tried water first, and yea it turnt brown lol nothing a little sanding and paint can't fix! besides the color change thats it

looks like a good plan to me! how bad does it smell up the house? and im guessing u let the grease get hot then put it in, and push down sorta hard?

i was just bs about the smell and dont push down hard at all or u will mess up the flare lol that pipe is soooooooooo flexible when in grease its ridiclious but gently press down!

wow, I saw the same thing on a potato gun website. They were making rockets or something to shoot and they did the flare exactly the same way, except the guy pushed the PVC down on a bowl. Good idea and nice work.

i will take more pic right now im working on bigger ports and its hard lol doesnt work t he same way as that 2" port did but i just about have it figured out will post more pics of bigger ports. those d@mn 6 inch ports take to much to get heated up!
