I was thinking about getting some fatmat for my trunk. One of my friends was going to split 50 sq.ft. with me for about $90. I was told I can find something at lowes that is just as good for around $15. Has anyone used the stuff from lowes and if so is it any good.

Peel and Seal, its in the roofing dept. It is not as dense so you need to apply more layers and it can drip if in intense heat....some people will argue that it doesn't, but I've seen it happen and I live in New England where it doesn't get that hot...perhaps different products or mnfctrs. If my car was anything nice, I probably wouldn't take the chance, but if budget is more important, lots of people use P + S.
