Where can I find an OEM stereo wiring diagram for an izuzu axium. I need to know which wires in the back of the head unit are for the left and right speakers. Any information would be appreciated.

why not do it the easy way? like getting a wiring harness for that car? if u wanna know the colors the best way would to be take each speaker out and see what colors run to it and then find them at the plug.

well BE A TRUE FRIEND and dont hack the wires!!!!!!!
make him buy a harness! thier only a few bucks....
i cannt stand it when people hack wires cause they are to cheap to buy alittle 10dollar harness. the 10bucks is well worth the money and ya wont have to guess work anything and it just plugs in after you wire it up anywhere you want so ya dont have to bust your knuckles trying to add it to the factory wires.

He is using a factory head unit and doesnt want to buy an aftermarket head unit. I was going to install a line converter. Do they make harnesses for this situation? If so is there a website he can order it from or would it be a common item in a speaker shop?

what now? hes wiring in a factory headunit into his car? ya threw me off............. or do you just want to wire in a line converter?
if he just wants to wire in a line converter than thats realy easy! personaly i just tape into the rear speaker wires and wire it up from thier. if its for a sub it realy doesnt matter which speaker is which and if its for amping some speakers then just switch the wires on the amp output terminals
i thought you where talking about choping the harness plug off and wiring in a aftermarket.... my bad if i was wrong.. didnt mean to come off like a @ss... i just hate people that chop off thier factory harness plugs to save a few bucks with adding a aftermarket.LOL

How many threads did you start about this? Isn’t there rules about starting at least 3 different threads for the same thing in different categories?

He wants a line converter but the speakers in the back are in the hatch so the RCA would be pulled when he opens the hatch so I just wanted to go ahead and put it in at the HU. I started 2 b/c this was my first post and I didnt see the installers corner before i posted. sorry if there is rules against that stuff

well if they are in the hatch... simply pull the speakers to find out thier colors....... then track them into the harness that routes them into the hatch... and wire em up thier... you can easily just extend the speaker wires with the same size wires factory and run those wires where ya want them and put the converter thier....
BUT if ya realy want to wire it up infront then its your call.......... one thing you could do....... is again go buy a aftermarket harness.... and simply read the lettering on each wire and connect your speaker wires to that wire that lines up with that harness plug then take back the harness and get your money back at wally world ive had to do that for a friends truck since he had already cut off the harness. but luckely thier was still about 1/8th a inch of colored wire jacket still on the plug so it was easy enough rewire it straight.....
