WHY must these azzholes give crap for space behind decks? almost every car I wire. the harness barely fits back there. this kills me. splice the harness kit for the car to the deck wire harness, then there's no where to put it tuck it up over deck squeeze it behind and on sides. I want the idiot who did this design flaw to jump off a cliff so someone else can step up and leave a little more room back there. I'm about ready to destroy the car over this... told the wife she's on her own to figure out where to tuck all that sh!t since it's her damn 04 jetta... and the box on the hot that comes on alpine and some other decks, guess it's a noise supressor or some crap... then the other metal box on the black wire errr. want to cut them all the hell off! I did that to one eclipse deck once and the screen stopped working lmao. it was allready dead I was just curious what the box was so I hooked it up and cut it off lol. ah, rant done for now, gonna go re hook that **** up I guess. and the damn scoche kooks make the pocket like 6" deep, it they made it 4 everything would fall below fine.

I may just hack it shorter so everytime I pull the dash apart to add something there's still room lmao.

That does suck, especially when I accidentally cut the power wire too short and had to remove like the entire dash to fix it

In VWs, generally you can stuff the harness down to the left lower corner of the cutout. I haven't found a radio too deep or a harness that was too massive to stuff down in there.

I was speaking in terms to the entire car... they do things totally different then we do which makes it difficult.

anyway it was meant to be a joke.

when I used to install professionaly it actually was quite easy just "tight".
