well i upgraded from 2 concept 2400a amps to 2 kicker 2500.1 amps. for music it seemed to my ear that 1 2500.1 at 1.4 ohm was louder then 2 concept 2400a amps at .7 each on a single eclipse ti pro.

daily im running the kickers at 2.5 ohm each amp.
competitions i will run them at .7 each.

they are very impressive so far, and 1 seemed to be more forgiving on my electrical system then 2 concepts. i still need to upgrade to 8 total runs of 0 guage and 2 good batteries in the back.

here is the picture, i mounted them upside down because the power inputs where on the wrong side, and the rca where also on the wrong side if i mounted them the other way.

thanks guys, you may wonder why the amps are off center, its because i have a spair tire well that cuts in off center and it gave me just enough room to mount them like that. so they are about 3-4 inches off center.

i have only played a song for like 20 seconds parked at my apartment, and i had some chick yelling at me out her window, and my roommate came out telling me to turn it down cause his cealing fan was shaking. and my apartment was 60 feet away. also i had someone in the car and i noticed his shirt sleave moving a good bit. i will have a video up in the next few days. im just trying to see what a single sub will do in a wall for daily driving. hopefully it will put up a good score on the meter, but i am tuned at about 40hz, and that is pretty low for a walled vehical. its more of a daily driver and i dont want to loose my low bass. it sounds amazing for music even at low volumes it still retains pretty good sound quality.

the pillow is usefully when kneeling on the ground to work on the trunk or anything else low in the vehical, i have also used it to rotate tires, and work under my car. so i leave it in the trunk. its a lot better then concreate or assfault.

no, this one pictured is a 2005 model, the 2006's are all black and dark grey. For two 12's, get two DVC 2's for a final 2 ohm load for the 2500.1 [Smile]
