Summer has finally come for us up here in the northeast, and that means its stereo time!
I dont have any idea where im going with this install, but I gathered the majority of stuff I had and put it in my Explorer. I wanted to do four Mojo 15's but one of the coils on one doesnt read so I have to make a phone call to see about getting that fixed. Enjoy the pictures, I dont do very nice installs too often lol.
A buddy and I built this box for his Explorer but he went a diff route, so I threw it in my CRX for a few days, didnt look pretty, but she pounded (tuned to 38hz)
I got motivated and started on the Ford, and I'll just throw up pix from the start two days ago, to what it looks like now.
Wednesday:
one run of 0g for now, all I have.

Gotta love the 'dining room'
I'd like to thank Team 420 Rooney, Bob, and Jesse for having faith and letting me use these subs, anything I need they are just a phone call away! Also thank The Loud Crowd Toby and Scott for hanging out in that damned garage fighting for hours on end about stupid sh!t!!! All good times!
The landlord leaves tomorrow so I'll break out the TL and see how she does. I dont expect anything over a 150 but we will see

nah i have extra batteries, I could, however, just pull the Kinetik from my CRX and add the second Kinetik I have here, and yes Street C... but I was thinking of something a little different but not sure anymore.

time to start troubleshooting... i think the amp to the left is sh!tting out... and I dont know how to test the speaker output with the multi meter I have, it has four plugs for different measurements... i'll take a pic if anyone can look at it and tell me which plugs to put the leads into, and where to turn the knob

i need to figure out whats wrong with the amp/amps, why its giving me horrific feedback over bumps (yes i've checked rca's etc), and why it appears one sub is moving alot less than the other, even though they APPEAR BY EYE to be set the same

being the retard that I am, my head unit is not dead. I checked my ground wire for my battery bank and it had come 99% out of the O-ring I had it in... so I went to a buddies and used a damn vice to make sure that wire wasnt coming out. Also put it in a more forgiving spot as far as tuggin on it, where now there is NONE
so, head unit 1 - Jason 0
