I have seen these post before, what will my setup hit, but I am not really asking that question. An 18" sub has become available to me and I was wondering if it would be worth it for me to build a sealed enclosure to install in my hatch. I currently have 2 re se 12's vented hitting 136.6 in bassrace. would like to know if the number would go up or down or stay the same, ermember the 18 is sealed.

1700 watts @ 1 ohm, new ed 18" - 2 of them sealed ,,,,, sealed because 2 ported will not fid, suppose to be designe to work very well sealed, and in small sealed locations,, also this is going into an Acura rsx, hatch, and cabin gain may be a large factor.

I think it will sound good, are you sure you even have enough room for 2 18's sealed? I would think with only 1700 watts you might be better off with just one sub ported.
