well got to work on the car today........ started late (around 5:30) quit around 10:30.... with all the slow ass breaks inbetween.....lol

out with the old!!!......

tang band 8".... with 12mm xmax.... and same sealed box!!

drivers side all done.....

both done......need to add chop mat on the inside and paint these!

dam it was a cold long night workng on these....... no shop = sucks!!!!

still need to mold the trim peices and add black gloss paint....

dam are these LOUD and sound dam good...

for the price if your willing to fit them i would say get these asap!

ok clear this up......

the depth is 4.75"

from the pics it looks alot closer to the break than it realy is.

doors would not have been better with these subs as they are made for very small SEALED boxes.

but dam do they sound good!!

just need to finsh them.

I would have tried to mold them in a little more, just looks like you built a pod and threw it in there...

my only problem is they are noit molded, but you say your modling the trim pieces in.

also the trim peices are going on as we speak and are drying ....

should have one side done in a lil bit then i will resand it all and prep for paint.

i HATE sanding!!!!!

and yes they are large and stick out far but with a 4.75" mounting depth its how it had to be done.

i really must say i like how these sound .... nich punch to them and get low (not as low as i would like ) but they get the job done when i dont want a wall of subs playing in my ear.
