Guys, I have been trying to contact K&B Audio for 2 days and I can't get anyone through the phone number listed on their site. When I dial the number now, I get a fax machine tone. Is there anything going on with K&B Audio?

I had not read anything that indicated they were a shady business.

Please feel free to share the number because all of my attempts have not been successful at all.

They had my homeboy's amp for 8 months, casually lost it several times, and to this day its still not fixed. I sent them in amp last season and they sent it back not fixed, then had the nerve to try to bill me. I had to take it apart and fix it myself From now on, I fix my own amps, fvck K&B

Not sure about the problems snoop had, but I can say he is one of the most knowledgable people on amplifiers I have ever talked to. I have had alot of work done by him and I have to say he does great work. Keep trying him, you'll get him, and it will be worth it.

Are any of you calling the phone number on their website? I have made all of my attempts to call during their business hours and all I get is either their answering machine or a screeching fax machine tone. I'm dialing 505-524-5963 because that is the only number listed on their site.

Snoopdan is talking about me. He had my amp "repaired" a few times, ended up costing me a bit in shipping to him twice. It might have just been me, but I do not believe it was a good job at all. I got it back and it was still black, screws were missing, etc. Not very professional. I have pics of the insides from after the 8 months + he had it. I am un pleased with it. I hate bashing a company but I did not have a good experience with them. Good luck to you sir.

Yes, I do. I appreciate the heads up, but I do comprehend the idea of DIFFERENT time zones. That would be why I posted "I have made all of my attempts to call during their business hours and all I get is either their answering machine or a screeching fax machine tone".
I'm probably just going to get back in touch with paypal and make it their problem.

to be honest, that would be your best bet if you are having this much trouble to get ahold of sergey. I once in awhile have probs getting ahold of him, but it has never been after he received my amps, always trying to get ahold of him before i send em out. as rude as a chargeback can be, i think sergey will make an effort to call you/email you once he receives a chargeback. I hate to see you do that, but you have to do what you gotta do to get some sort of response.

It went in waves for me. He used to be able to email me like within the hour and stuff.. Then it went for a couple weeks I couldn't get to him, etc. He's down to earth person but I do not think my amp was repaired.. I never hooked it up to see I just got rid of it.

I can promise you this, he will not get my business. I have heard many stories, some even from people in the industry. If you need something fixed I would look towards TIPS.

Ray from TPIS says he doesnt even want to work on Class D amps, he claims he can only fix about 40% of them. Which is pretty silly since anything that can be broken, can be fixed. Unless of course the board is burnt to a cinder after your car catches on fire or something.

Most class D amps are such turds that you could throw them away and get a new one for what it costs to fix them. Class D= disposible.
