how much dou you guys think a shop would chage to put two tens firing in cabin kinda sealed from the trunk (not actually sealed, but like a wall blocking) and then the box, and it looks like the subs are mounted in a wall. then on the back side of the box (trunk side) mount my amp flush with a d block 1/0 to 4 gauge walled like the front side?
do u think this is a 300 dollar job or more? 1/0 is already ran and all

I work @ a shop in Arlington,TX and depending on the car I charge anywhere from 250-750. If they want fiberglass and painted it gets up towards the 750 but carpeted to match and "walled off" 250-450 depending on how many subs&size.

I did something like this in my Mustang, except I actually Sealed the trunk from the cabin, let me say this, it isnt easy, but the results are sooooooooo worth the time and effort I put into it.
Im gonna say more than 300 bones, but I dont work in a shop so I cant say for sure.

its a 2005 mustang, and im not gunna permanantly install this, well it will be permanant, but not so permanant it cant be removed with no trace of it being there. if i ever sell the car or something i want it out of it with nothing to show of the install.

well if you work real clean you could seal it up and still be able to un-install it all if you wanted to,(some of the sealing could even remain and no one would no as it would be behind several panels.
I glassed the box in the car (you virturly have the same trunk as me.) I layed ducttape down in the areas where I couldnt get wood to wood seams, I used 1 whole roll to make my corners around the Shock mounts(both) then glassed from wood to wood. now I dont ever plan on selling my car so I removed every panel inside the trunk and went crazy, I have 7 cubes now and could easily get more I have estimated I could squeeze 10 if I had to but Nothing else is going in there( trunk) as it is now I cant fit very much (no spare), you could do it and save yourself some money just take your time go slow to keep it clean as possble.

If everything was ran and we were building the box and what would end up being 2 trim type pannels. Would be in the $300 range....depending how you wanted it finished and what not and how busy we are...we would do it for the price you said.
But thats us...Other may be a tad less and others may be more. I know we could do something crazy and then the sky is the limit...
