I'm pretty anxious to install it now, but will probably wait until this weekend... unless I get to anxious. Hopefully this will work out for me even though I was told by my supplier that the AVX2 will be in stock next week.. oh well.

u know how much this thread pisses me off................
i have had one on the way for 2 weeks now and keep running into problems. first the distributor shipped to the middle man. then COD'd it, noone could pay for it, so it waited till monday. well go figure they sent the AVX2 instead of the 1, guy didnt accept, cuz it was the wrong unit and couldnt cover the COD charge from the upgraded units higher priced. sooooo guess all my money comes back and i have no deck.

Awww man. that sucks. supposedly the AVX2 is better than the AVX1. Only differance I can tell is a .5" bigger screen and front panel layout (reminds me of the old 2 knobber headunits).
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? The AVX2 will be at my supplier next week, and will, from what I've been told, be right about the same price.

from whati understand the wholesaler price is around 390 for them. i know the guy, and se he only made like 20 bucks and then shipping. wont give names or sites or anything, but i guess it just got all mixed up on shipping, noones fault but the distributor.

Sounds about right for wholesale, they retail for $450 here. After sitting here looking at it, and a monitor I have sitting here doing nothing (it's a 4" lilliput), I think I may have some fun. If I can find the power cord for the lilliput, that is.
1LOWSUV, I don't blame you. I probably should have waited until next week, but I was wanting this for a pretty long time and the money was burning a hole in my pocket. I really don't see any differance in specs from AVX1 to AVX2. I do like the faceplate layout of the AVX2 better though. Plus it has a .5" bigger screen.
I've come to the decision that I am going to try installing it tomorrow during lunch, so I may have a pic or 2 of that.
