Breaks off inside the screw? It happened twice to me and the screws are going through a two sheet thick face. Whats the baest way to get the woofer out without hurting it, now I'm drilling it out with a bit thats bigger than the head of the screw. Is there a better way? Help me out here cause I'm running out of time to test before sbn.

dunno about better...but you can take a cutting wheel and slice a semi-deep line straight across and use a flat head to unscrew it?

[Confused] never had that happen.

maybe take an awl or something with a sharp point and a hammer and carefully try to get under that phillips bit.either that or maybe take a punch about the size of the screw head and give it a couple good whacks with a hammer to loosen the bit up a little. It happens to me at work all the time and one of those usually takes care of it.try pre drilling those screw holes next time

Get better bits. [Wink]

Anyways, id do it just like deafy said, cut a slot in the screw and take it out with a flathead.
