so i made my own 1/0gauge ring terminals...and i was thinking of making some wire reducers so that i can run 1/0 to my amp...would this be ok...

im talkin about just stickin the reducer in the amp terminal...would this work well?

would u just run the `/0 to that and stick the copper in and screw down on it or what?

that is what i was considering but didnt know if it would be a sufficient amount of surface for proper flow to the amp...

How thick is that copper? It looks like that really thin copper tubing? Current is going to flow through the metal. To thin, and it will act like a fuse and melt. Then you have a hot wire flopping around in your trunk area.


I'm all for DIY type projects, but don't go ghetto to save $2.00.

just cut down wire untill it fits

use dis block close to amp then run a short piecs of 4 awg . isnt that the best way
