every frequency is louder with my windows down and always has with every system and vehical i have had, trunk setup = louder with windows down, wall = louder with windows down. but this was both with a 4 door car. its probably not louder at the dash location a mic is placed, but louder at the drivers and passengers head rest. now with the sun roof open thats a different story, it usually doesnt seem as loud

I was always louder to the ear on the low end with doors open and what not. Also I had the same experience with the sun roof...it sounded less loud just a tad BUT...I found that with it cracked just a tad in my cavalier it was louder at the dash then doors open or windows.

This with with 2 4 coil 15's and 8 amps.

Why does it matter what it sounds like inside a building or your house? If you can hear it, that means others probably can, and dont want to. You should learn a little respect for others and turn your **** down in residential areas...
