This past weekend, I attended a Show in Guadalajara, Mexico, it was the Expo Guadalajara 2006, where some of the 12 volt toys and Car manufacturers put on some of their wares on displays.....and there was and unnoficial SPL comp to be held.....I knew it was gonna be hard....but went to it anyhow....
so.... here are some pics of the show, had a lot of fun...
I got there Friday, a day earlier, so I could get a glimpse of some of the toys on display....and found this guy wondering around....Saludos Jassa...

so i went home that nigth and had a couple of wet dreams about those babies, lol....then got my car ready for sunday, a friend of mine, lend me a couple of amplifiers, because the spl comp, only had two division, stock and mod......open power....no battery limit....oh isht.....now what ?.....well.....let's see if my little 8 inch woofers can stand to the test....
I preped the car for Stock mode....usin a couple of Lanzar Opti 2000 amps and a couple of kinetik 2400 on my eigth 8 inch woofers...
spl mess, you all know how messy it can get...
and put my 2.3 cube box inside the VW cargo area...small space....oh yeah....

and of course.......I could not resist a picture with a girl from the Team....but she'e no longer a blonde, now...she's a Brunnette....and as beautiful as always...

after all that....well....stepped up to the plate, and got a second place, with a 155.1 run, against a guy by the name of Rolando Serna, great competitor, he's using a CRX, did a 156.5 run, but don't know what he is using....well....had lot's of fun anyways....talked to a lot of poeple...took me some pics....and the crowd...
the crowd loved the VW Bug with it's eigth 8 inch woofers....oh yeaaaaaah....

They are 8 inch DBDrive Speed series woofers.....I'll try to get some DD1008 later on to test them....I think this little guys reached their mechanical limits for now....

Im just glad bud that you came back alive,with all thats going on over there.We don't need to loose another person epesaly a audio guy.
