1st you need to run those amps at .7 ohms,@turn your frequency all the way up.What size is your enclosure? What is the resonate frequency of your car?If you can get me that info,I can help you get loud Maybe not 150's,but mid 40's,or better Also get me the maximum measurements for your height, length, and depth, that you will still be able to fit in your trunk ;)When I was running 2 Mmats,on 1 15,and 2 batt, and 1 run of 4 guage,I could do a 147.5 ,but minus 1 batt,a 146.1.All with the seats up.Also 1 good batt, should be better than the 2 cheap batt,I was running.

well as im moving away from street b i would be happy to share with you everything i can about a trunk car.
this is an idea of something i have tried....
the 1st pic is of my slot ported box 148.xx with this setup
next up is the box i used for 04 finals.... 149.xx with that ..... then moved up on the subs and power (shocker 02 sigs and 4 1200d's) and goto 151.3db
then i ripped that box out and built inside the trunk... upgraded to neo sigs ran a crap ton of wire and really figured out the amps to make the give the most power before smoke.
did a 153.0 at world finals.
that sadest part of that is after looking all over my hard drive i was so worried about hiding my design i dont have ONE pic of it.
im sure someone out there has a freaking pic... if so please post it.
the box looked just the same as above but was all wrapped in black vynal as is the rear deck now.
i used PVC tubes (the 12" green ones) and and we made them as long as possable then started cutting off .75" at a time till we got closer then went to .5" at a time.
we also used 3" fiberglass 45's in the conors and on the top and bottom of the box ion the back wall.
everything was double layer .75 but the bottom plate as it was screwed right to the car floor.
i then added a 2x4 across the top to help with flexing.
the whole box had a fiberglass panel molded around it then covered with black vynal.
now im not sure how much this will help you but its an idea.
i tore this box out went i went to another state to move so i cant take pics now ...., but i still have the tubes and i started to rebuild the box before i decided to change classes and go another route.
i could take a pic if you need to see it better.... let me know any questions please ask.

I'll shoot you some ideas too Kate if you need them. Sears is my teammate, and we both have extensive "seat-up" trunk experience.

i thought about areoports back and subs on the side to the back. i was told a big secret is to make sure the bass doe not get stuck so maybe some angle cuts on the box or some wood to keep the spl from getting trapped. let me know how you do

When I look at an enclosure inside. I progress from the rear of the sub through the enclosure and out of the port rounding as I go and removing any obstructions. Think of the airflow/bass as a fluid. You want nothing stopping it's smooth flow. The reason that aeros work so well is because they encourage a smooth transition from high pressure to low pressure without obstruction. I believe they have even been tested to increase the velocity of air as it passes through them. I believe that building a standard port in this manner is beneficial, yet time consuming.
