is my spl lower do to only being able to play a 1 sec. bass note.. hu skips .meter is term lab

im pretty sure you need like a good 2-3 sec. burp for the termlab to read properly. you could always take the headunit out of the dash and hold it while you burp.

or maybe one of those headunits with the hard drive. OR like ipod into the auxilary input..... just something that shouldnt or wont skip as bad [Wink]

I actually found the TL seemed to like nearer 4 second burp to read highest...

my deck does have a hard drive can i compete using my down loaded files insted of the cd

guess youll have to try and get a beter headunit. so far my clarion proaudio H/U works great! ive never been able to skip a good cd! only problems ive had with it is overheating after listening to the cd for an hour or 2. then it just comes up with error until the cd cools down enough and then i just slide it back in the radio [Big Grin]
ill never use a sony again cause everyone ive had skips like mad!!!!!


J/W what model is your headunit?
