What I want to do is a kind of community project. I haven’t competed in 6 years or so and would like to take what I have (listed below) and try it out at the April 2 Installation Station show. I want to make it a Termpro project. Get a box design that everybody agrees on, use all the special construction techniques that have been discussed, etc, etc, and see what it does on the meter.

Sub: Diamond Audio M5 12" Single 4 ohm coil Looks like this.

Amp: Alpine MRV-T757

Car: 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis

Rest of system: Eclipse 3422 CD deck, stock speakers, Streetwires 8 ga. amp kit

Date of show: April 2, 2006 Mt. Olive, NC

Start posting box designs, pictures, etc……

What size woofer/coils? Ive seen just and avg woofer as such and around 600-700 wrms do some pretty amazing things, but with that car it wont be easy to do any sort of a great number. I know in a grand marquis i did awhile back even with 2 15's in the trunk and around 1350wrms it still prob wudnt have done more than a '40 or so on the t/l on a good day.

I'll get the trunk measured tonight, have you seen the trunk of a GM before? It's huge! Not much room under the read deck though, only about 9" high, 18" deep and 44" wide...

The sub is 12" and has a single 4 ohm coil.

Can the seats fold down in yours? I know the one I did the seats were stationary, but it was a year or two older than yours...
