But for every 1MM of flex on (IE) body panels, roof truck etc you loose 10 DB
I could be a little of with my numbers but im going to double check.
Anyways do you have any videos of this sunroof opening on its own.
I dont think that could be, maybe in a van when your doing 160+, but my jeep flexed inches and i hit 145 with one 18, i highly doubt that i could be even hitting 155 without the flex. I think it really depends on the vehicle too, but there probably is some sort of rough formula for it.

a lot of vehicles are louder when there flappin and flexin. you stop the flex and down goes your score. ask just about any street competitor with an suv.

yeah i dont think flex has much to do with loss or gain, my car is walled and has a sunroof. so there is not much large sections of sheet metal, so it doesnt flex much at all. the windshield is a different story, it flexes more then 1 mm. but i see how the roof flexing could help spl, its actually another pannel moving to the frequency making more preasure.

I still am waiting for a warm day to do my vid of my AQ.
Last time I got it metered was at 31 hz, did a 144.3. I hate the install for a comp since i have a metal wall behind my seat and the sub is in the trunk.
You can definitely raise your score man. You will be breakin 150 with no sweat.
