The problem isn't taking a sazall to the car. The problem came when I realized that I just cut out a perfectlly good sounding install for something that MAY OR MAY NOT FIT.
Winslow, I gotta give you ALOT of credit. You've got some balls going out on a limb with this wild revamp of a great install.
I am in awe!!! I cannot wait to see the finished product. I am sure it will only impress.
One thing is for sure, I will never question your testicular fortitude..... serious cajones man... serious cajones...

There will be some special things going on in the car.
If you think the 15s are impressive, wait til you see the 10" midbasses upfront...and it is still a 3 way front stage.
Dang, I slipped and said too much already.

Dude, I'd love to see the 10" mid-bass set-up!! The 15s install is great, no question. Nice work!
Are you going with a slim-line 10" for the upfront mid-bass? If so, which one?
What're you going to use for Mid-range & Tweets? Vifa, Peerless, Focal, Morel, Macrom? I still want to try the DynaVox - if they're on-par with DynAudio, but at a fraction of the cost......
Tweeters? We don't need no stinking tweeters! Horns are where it's at!

Lol...nah, I wouldn't say that. I haven't built any large fiberglass stuff for my car in a while, and I needed to do something to refresh the things I know...and to learn new stuff.
