Ok guys I have got the site going once again, don't have much there yet except a front page with some information on how to get stuff repaired, if you have specific questions on a product or interested in repairing, buying, or modifying a Linear Power product drop us a email at the address posted on the site or give us a call. We plan on having some information pages and manual back up on the site in the Spring sometime.

Can you post up the url so we don't have to search for it?

(I assume it's linearpower.com but figure I'd ask!) [Big Grin]

The site is linearpower.com

We are trying to add many new features to it as we go, one thing we will be trying to put up (maybe by this weekend) is a web based outlet store, so we will have posted what is available for sale and the price and all transactions can be made online to purchase the units.

We have already added a page on repair pricing of Linear Power products, and we will have a page dedicated to the modifications of Linear Power products. Just click the rotating logo or the Linear Power name to go to the next page.

As far as testing amps, do you mean a Linear Power product? and what test results are you looking for? We test all Linear Power amps using the same procedures the factory did to insure product quality when they were produced. These test are done using "markers" in the circuit such as rail voltage at certain input (battery) voltage ranges, this tells us if the amp is making full power, we test power supply waveform, look at output wave form, check that distortion is within limits, channel separation, and so on.

Oh as for tests, please check the site at linearpower.com, we have just added a specification page that covers every product producd by Linear Power all the way back to 1980. It has more specs than most companys ever published.

Hey guys,

I have had (3) 4.1HVS lately and they all have presold before I could even have them ready.

Wish people had showed so much interest in Linear Power when they were around, maybe we wouldn't be trying to bring a phoenix from the ashes now!

I'm doing my best to get some more 4.1HVS' up for sale, maybe it won't be long! Winslow I think your next unless you let me know otherwise!!

there are times in your life that make an impression on you- the first time i saw the bread van sitting in the bay @ TIPs, ray explaining to me how the power supplies were set up in the van, and when he hooked one of my 4.1s up to the scope and got 170 volts from the outputs....

ahhh, good old days.

oh yeah, and ray scaring the **** out of me in that damn lightning of his- im just glad it wasnt the saleen. still, theres something about taking 30mph curves at 130mph in a TRUCK....
