I'm going to change speakers up front in an astrovan, but I have no clue what size they are or how to get them out.. [Confused]

anybody know something about anything

the dash can support a 6x9 spkr,
but i have seen 4x6,5.25,6x9 and 6.5" (all oem)
in the opening. Hope this helps

could be many, but most likely 6x9 or 4x6 depending upon year. The grills just pop off, use a flat blade, pop the front up first than pull them up and outward, clips hold them in on the back. getting the speaker out is easily done with a skew driver (90* screwdriver attachement) with a 1/4" drive socket adapter and of course a lovely 7mm on the end.

O btw thats the dash speakers, iirc, i think some years may have had 6.5's in the doors, on those its the standard gm door panel removal.
