What do you mean? Just 8 years ago there was no processing available in HU's. And if there was it was VERY limited. Now you can find 3 way crossovers and 5 band parametric built in to headunits.
And while having a fairly large box that holds 6 CD's does seem a little outdated when you can fit 100's of songs on one MP3 disc, sometimes it's the only way to get an optical out into your processor.
4 or 5 years back IS NOT Old School!

Oh I've got a old school Soundstream SS8 sub. I used to own a SS15 sub. For those who don't know Soundstream well, that was their top sub back in the late 80's/early 90's.

I have something for all of you!!! I am headed on a run to a few dealers tomorrow. I will take my camera .. because one of the dealers has been around a VERY LONG TIME. .
And, last time I was in there, I saw Art Series PPI's, Sedona PPI's, HCCA's, Lanzar Opti's, and several others. I will take pics and let him know I will post up his #. I love looking around in there. All of this stuff is just one's and two's left over from the good ole days.
