Damn Those are some awesome pics!!! I so remember most of those setups! Kevon Binder man what happened to him. I gave him a spanking at finals and he never showed up again but he made a mag! I never got into a mag Damnit! haha I have a buddy with some old pics with some old John Poling Systems and also some pics of Henery Williams >>??? He ran the astro with all the Treo and DD subs most of the time... I;ll have to steal those pics from him and get them on the scanner!! Classic!

If anyone is looking for some Old School equipment I sure Virgil Williams From Lynn Haven, Fl still has some NEW in BOX around his shop!! on another note when are some of you guys going the bring your Vech. out of retirement? I would like to see a old school calss at some of the events.

What do you mean? Just 8 years ago there was no processing available in HU's. And if there was it was VERY limited. Now you can find 3 way crossovers and 5 band parametric built in to headunits.
And while having a fairly large box that holds 6 CD's does seem a little outdated when you can fit 100's of songs on one MP3 disc, sometimes it's the only way to get an optical out into your processor.
4 or 5 years back IS NOT Old School!

Oh I've got a old school Soundstream SS8 sub. I used to own a SS15 sub. For those who don't know Soundstream well, that was their top sub back in the late 80's/early 90's.

I have something for all of you!!! I am headed on a run to a few dealers tomorrow. I will take my camera .. because one of the dealers has been around a VERY LONG TIME. .
And, last time I was in there, I saw Art Series PPI's, Sedona PPI's, HCCA's, Lanzar Opti's, and several others. I will take pics and let him know I will post up his #. I love looking around in there. All of this stuff is just one's and two's left over from the good ole days.

LOL........ I have those old RF amps sitting on my work my bench in my garage. In fact I have three with the bridges. 2 60ix and 40 something. Its 2 2channels and a 4channel. LOL. I won't sell them to no one. Some day I'll use them in a car figure I'll put my old school equpiment in my old school car. A man can dream. Its like my old school equpiment pick below.
Below is my old school MTX White Thunder Series Amps. I was so proud of these. Now they are just a nice paper weight.

Can't even find Marathon subs on Ebay. Hard to track down...

BTW, in another month & a half my 83 will be a antique (25 yrs).

here at the shop, we have an 8-track player BNIB from the 70's. it was found when we moved one of the stores two doors over to a larger building (14,000sf)

Here are my 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch 150's from 1989 (3rd gen just before the HD's)...along with a RF XV-1 Active Electronic Crossover from 1989.
Been running all this gear faithfully since 1989 to present day.
Also, my Cerwin Vega 'VEGA' Series from 1999 & still running faithfully.
