I installed two of the Blue Thunder MTX 10s in my dude Justin's S10 (single cab) off a matching Blue Thunder amp, and after a couple weeks we switched to Pioneer Premier subs instead. The amp is awesome, he beats on it pretty good and it keeps on going

The subs I really miss were the Orion XTR speakers. Had a pair of 1" tweets, 6.5 MB mids, and 2 12's in my old Tercel hatchback with the old Lanzar (light blue/gray color) Opti series amps running them. Also had the Orion passive crossover modules (18db slopes) for the highs and used the built in x-over in the Lanzar for the sub. Only items I still have are the tweeter x-overs and the 6.5" mids. Rest got stolen. [Frown]

This topic freakin' rules, these pics bring back memories. I wish I was smart enough to take photos of all my installs from back in the day. This topic makes me even more pumped to do my next system if I ever find a donor car to put it in. I will be using some older components along with some newer stuff, like some older PPI art series amps, so far an a300, a600, and an a1200, maybe another a600 , not sure yet. I even have a pair of Kicker solo s10d's that are still new that I might use along with my Premier DEX-P9 and DEQ-P9.

I will try to post some pics as soon as I can get them scanned onto the computer. I have some of my old systems and a few others from stereo comps back in 96. One set is of the old Easter egg PPI Art van. For those of you that don't know it the whole outside of the van looks like an old art series amp [Smile]
